My Role: eLearning Developer, Instructional Designer
Tools Used in Development: Lectora, Vyond, Canva, Audacity
Time in Development: 80 hours
Overview
This course teaches adult and adolescent participants in the Cookie Sales Program how to make and achieve a sales goal.
Challenge
Girl Scouts were making goals they were not achieving, which left the Girl Scout Troop with a surplus of cookies, decreasing profit margins and leaving the Troop with less funds for the coming year.
Solution
This course teaches learners how to make an attainable sales goal, how to make a plan to achieve the goal, and how to track progress toward the goal. Girl Scouts must work hand in hand with a supervising adult when selling Girl Scout Cookies, making this training a collaboration between the Girl Scout and their supporting adult. This collaboration ensures the goals that are being made are goals that can be achieved.
